Congratulations to Arsen and Niamh who both won 1st place trophies in the Leinster Chess Union Grand Prix tournament in Dundrum. This is Arsen’s 2nd GP trophy in a row in the under 8 section. Niamh won the first places trophy in the under 8 girls.
Vishal also had an excellent tournament finishing in joint 3rd place in the under 12s section on 4/6. Darius performed well in the highly competitive under 15 section with two wins and two draws finishing in 6th place. James found himself against tough opposition in the under 10s, but came away with a good win in the final round. Kian, Darragh and Harshaa also competed in there various age groups all 3 scoring a credible 2/6 and gaining valuable GP points.
