There was a great turnout of 36 players for our first ever Kids vs Grownups Team Battle on lichess.org. The Grownups team (consisting of parents of club members) had 15 players against 21 Juniors.
The competition was fierce with the lead changing hands several times throughout the 70 minute Team Battle.
The final Result was: victory for the Grownups with 216 points against 182 points for a very talented and determined young Junior team.
The Juniors will, no doubt, be eager to settle the score in the repeat event in December 2021!
