Today’s was the Junior Tournament in Stillorgan hosted by GM Alex Baburin. Before the main Tournament there was a simultaneous exhibition with FM Conor O’Donnell. Darius and Kian both played against him. In the main event Darius came 3rd and Vishal came 1st. Well done and Congratulations.

The Grand Prix series is starting back on 22nd Of October the first event is being hosted by Inschore chess club in Our lady of good council BNS, Mourne Road, Drimnagh. Congratulations to Vishal Tutte who won a second place trophy at Grandmaster Alexander Baburin’s  Junior Chess Tournament in Stillorgan last Sunday.

Two North Kildare teams  took part in Sunday’s LCU Rising Stars competition, the North Kildare Sphinx and the North Kildare Tigers. On the North Kildare Sphinx team were  Darius Rezania, Darragh Comey, Vishat Tutte and  Hartik Tadisetti. They team finish in respectable 9th place.
